Though not primarily a sculptor, I sometimes work with paper maché a medium I love for being light, cheap, strong, versatile, recycled and unbreakable. The surfaces are treated with gesso, paint, sometimes collage, and varnish, and the result is a durable sculpture (though it cannot be kept outdoors).
